Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships

Responsibilities

Deep technical acumen and understanding of the semiconductor/chip industry
Ability to lead the negotiation and structuring of semiconductor, chip licensing, technology integration, and supply-chain–related partnerships central to the Ultrasound-on-Chip™ platform
Identify and pursue step-change commercial opportunities with OEMs, component manufacturers, hardware partners, and strategic technology collaborators
Develop business cases, pricing frameworks, and deal structures that reflect both technical complexity and long-term commercial value
Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate technical requirements into executable partnership terms
Define and execute an ecosystem strategy spanning semiconductor partners, AI developers, SDK collaborators, research institutions, and enterprise clinical customers
Build a diversified pipeline of partners that expand platform capabilities and accelerate adoption of integrated chip, hardware, and AI solutions
Lead negotiations, deal frameworks, and business models across the full partnership lifecycle
Drive revenue through high-value semiconductor, technology, enterprise, and AI ecosystem deals across Octiv and Butterfly Garden
Develop and manage a robust pipeline that includes new business, expansion pathways, and multi-year strategic collaborations
Create compelling value propositions aligned with executive, technical, and clinical stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for key semiconductor, AI, and technology partners
Understand partner needs, strategic priorities, and technical constraints to influence internal roadmaps and cross-functional decisions
Secure C-suite alignment internally and externally on partnership goals, commitments, and trade-offs
Collaborate deeply with product, engineering, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure partnership success from pilot through deployment
Drive internal alignment around SDK, AI, and semiconductor strategies—advocating for the resources and sequencing needed to deliver results
Ensure seamless transitions from early engagement through implementation, validation, compliance, and long-term growth
Maintain a structured, data-driven approach for tracking partner stages, next steps, dependencies, and risks
Anticipate partner and operational needs; proactively surface issues and propose solutions
Manage multiple complex, high-touch partnerships simultaneously with precision, organization, and clarity

Required

8–12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or technology commercialization
Direct experience crafting, negotiating, and closing semiconductor, chip, or advanced hardware technology deals is required
Proven track record leading high-value B2B partnerships with Fortune 500, OEM, or enterprise technology customers from prospect through implementation
Strong commercial and financial fluency with the ability to distill complex technical and business problems into clear next steps
Ability to collaborate effectively with executive, technical, and clinical stakeholders
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly structured, analytical, and process-oriented approach to managing multiple complex partnerships
Tenacity and comfort operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments

Preferred

Experience in AI-driven healthcare, medical devices, or regulated technology sectors
Familiarity with regulatory pathways (e.g., FDA) for medical devices or AI-driven solutions
Prior experience in high-growth or early-stage companies
MBA or management consulting experience is a plus
