Responsibilities
Own the Corporate Accounting Function
Lead the monthly close across multiple entities
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany allocations
Maintain clean ledgers and ensure accuracy across all accounts
Build repeatable processes that reduce manual friction over time
Manage Multi-Entity Operations
Oversee all intercompany transactions, settlements, and cross-entity activity
Ensure expenses, cash movements, and allocations flow correctly between corporate and fund entities
Create clarity and structure in an environment with multiple stakeholders and high transaction volume
Payables Oversight
Take first pass on all invoices with correct classification (corporate vs. fund expense)
Maintain an organized AP process and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time
Identify exceptions quickly and escalate proactively
Build Speed, Reduce Risk
Develop pattern recognition on recurring transactions so each cycle runs faster than the last
Identify bottlenecks and areas where the team is dependent on single-person knowledge
Build clarity, documentation, and structure to reduce operational risk
Communication & Collaboration
Ask questions early and often; surface blockers immediately
Use Slack for real-time coordination with the corporate team
Keep availability visible and maintain predictable communication during close cycles
Partner with internal leadership to keep the finance function stable and transparent
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of corporate accounting experience
Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting (intercompany, eliminations, allocations)
Comfort in high-volume environments with transaction-level detail
Experience owning AP, close processes, and ledger management
Excellent communication—able to clarify questions quickly rather than grinding silently
Ability to operate independently with speed and accuracy
Preferred
Fund experience helpful but not required
