Handling complaints with skill and making sure everyone leaves happy
Keeping the place spotless and running smoothly, while following all safety and security procedures
Conducting inventory checks and regular upkeep
Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs
Maintaining ice machines, refrigeration, and air handling units
Connecting with guests and team members to provide solutions
Qualification
Required
Two years (or more) of experience in hotel maintenance
Familiarity with all the mechanical equipment that keeps a building humming
Knowledge of how to handle chemicals the right way
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong task prioritization skills
Comfortable with paperwork, including manuals, rules, and instructions
Ability to connect with people and focus on solutions
A valid driver's license and a clean record
Preferred
Bonus points if you've worked in a franchised property
