Leading those engineers assigned to his/her team to meet program deliverables

Establishing and managing product development plans

Managing the day to day activities of several engineers

Establishing work plans

Preparing responses to investigate bulletins

Managing cost/weight/performance to meet targets

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program

5 years of professional engineering experience

Proficient in DFMEA, DVP&R, PDP, change process (ODM/CN/CCD) tools and processes

Proficient in technical aspects of brake and/or wheel and tire engineering

Demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to travel to supplier locations and FCA plants to support project

Preferred

Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt/Black Belt certification

Strong GD&T skill set

Formal training/experience in problem solving, quality and reliability

Experience in manufacturing of brake components and vehicle assembly
