Responsibilities
Perform all routine and non-routine functions required in the cleaning and general maintenance of public use areas of the building, including floor maintenance
Nightly cleaning of locker rooms
Nightly Cleaning of restrooms
Floor maintenance
Vacuuming
Cleaning of rental rooms and room set ups
During winter months must be able to shovel/maintain walkways and clear entrances of snow around the building
Any other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Foreman
Ensure all work is accomplished in accordance within all required safety regulations/specifications
Maintain excellent public relations, by ensuring that inquiries made by the public are answered and completed in a prompt courteous manner
Ability to perform work during non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays as assigned
Available to work overtime (over 40 hours/week) as needed. All overtime worked will be at the approval of the Director of Recreation & Senior Services discretion
Work in a team environment with the ability to work with outer staff members in a professional and courteous manner
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work on feet/walking for extended periods
Considerable knowledge of equipment used in recreation and park environments
Maintain a valid State of Ohio Driver's License
Maintain First-Aid and CPR training including use of an AED
Ability to effectively communicate with a two-way radio
Preferred
Experience in the public sector is a plus
