Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets

Coordinate and oversee all project activities to ensure they align with organizational goals

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles

Assist in leading cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment

Delegate tasks effectively as needed, providing guidance and support to team members

Ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and expectations

Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner

Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials

Optimize resource allocation to ensure project success while maintaining cost-effectiveness

Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements

Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field

1-3 years of experience in the utility, construction, or manufacturing

Basic knowledge of construction, industry codes and standards

Prior exposure to project management is a must

Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them

Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands

Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project

Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients

Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines
