Sales Development Representative

In this role, the Sales Development Representative will identify and nurture new business opportunities, driving pipeline growth and supporting the sales team in exceeding targets.

Responsibilities
Generate sales revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with prospects
Conduct outreach via email, phone calls, and social media to establish initial contact and qualify leads
Build a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team
Accurately document and manage all activities in the CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot)
Conduct discovery calls to understand pain points and assess their needs for fintech solutions
Communicate the value proposition of the company’s products and services effectively
Collaborate with account executives and Sales Directors to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities
Manage sales pipeline and revenue forecast in Salesforce to ensure accurate recording of prospecting activity, conversion success, and active sales opportunities at each stage of the sales process
Express the value proposition and benefits of BizEquity’s products and solutions and use this knowledge to ensure that solutions address clear business needs for the client
Meet or exceed their monthly revenue and total annual revenue goals
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms
Desire to work in the software and fintech industry
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a sales development role, ideally in fintech or SaaS
