Responsibilities

Directly oversee and contribute to the production of monthly and weekly market reports, ensuring accuracy, analytical rigor, and timely delivery of all insights
Develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models, supply/demand balances, and price outlooks for crude oil and natural gas liquids
Coach and support the professional growth of market analysts and data scientists, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment
Act as a subject matter expert for oil and NGL markets, providing market briefings and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and industry audiences as appropriate
Enforce best practices in data analysis and modeling
Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and answer questions
Lead the development and rollout of new analytical products, tools, or methodologies that enhance our research impact and differentiate our offering in the marketplace

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or related field
10+ years of crude oil market analysis experience, ideally within industry or at an established consulting and analytics firm specializing in energy
5+ years of experience leading research teams and developing junior analysts
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience using Python or SQL for data analysis and modeling (PowerBI experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
