Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Implement clean, modular, and maintainable code following established standards and best practices
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs built with .NET Core and C#
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decision-making
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both front-end and API layers
Contribute to UI/UX improvements, focusing on scalability, accessibility, and performance
Assist in deployment and continuous integration activities, with exposure to DevOps pipelines and tools
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools in web development
Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., for code completion, documentation, or testing) thoughtfully to enhance productivity while maintaining code integrity and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer science, software engineering, or related field of study
3+ years of professional experience in web application development or successful completion of United DT Early Career Digital Leadership Program (ECDLP)
Experience in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS or similar
Hands-on experience with modern Angular (v12 or newer)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Solid understanding of core web concepts such as (or similar): Component-based architecture, Reactive programming (RxJS), State management and routing, Routing and lazy loading, Reusable UI patterns
Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
Understanding of source control systems (Git)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall development practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and skill growth
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred

Exposure to or interest in .NET Core and C# backend development
Collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior developers when needed
Awareness of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) and how to use them responsibly
Knowledge of DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, build automation, containerization (Docker)
Experience with solution design or contributing to architectural discussions
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Cypress, Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or similar)
Awareness of AI ethics, data privacy, and security considerations in code generation
