Responsibilities
Develop and customize PID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) systems tailored to specific project requirements, integrating process control logic, safety interlocks, and client-specific operational needs
Design and maintain PFD (Process Flow Diagram) to define process sequences, material balances, and system interfaces, ensuring clarity in overall process architecture and compliance with safety and operational standards
Perform electrical power and control system design related to chemical dispense systems, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, and PLC/DCS integration
Coordinate with EOR (Engineer of Record) to review and approve design deliverables, ensuring compliance with regulatory, NEC code, and client requirements
Support subcontractors in completing engineering works in accordance with design specifications and client expectations, including chemical dispense system power and control construction
Supervise electrical construction activities, ensuring proper installation of power distribution panels, cabling, grounding, control circuits, and network infrastructure (Ethernet, control networks, fiber) in compliance with UL certification and safety standards
Manage and respond to subcontractor RFIs (Requests for Information), providing timely clarifications, technical guidance, and documentation updates to avoid delays and ensure alignment with design intent
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to perform system testing, verification, and inspection
Assist in chemical piping layout and design to ensure system functionality and safety compliance
Coordinate construction sequences across disciplines, ensuring subcontractors follow planned workflows and minimizing conflicts between trades
Communicate and coordinate with QA/QC, clients, and subcontractors to resolve on-site issues
Participate in meetings with field and management teams to track project progress and address technical concerns
Maintain documentation related to project testing, design revisions, material coordination, and network/control system integration
Lead and support system commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, start-up operations, and performance verification to ensure systems operate safely and meet design intent
Support City inspection processes by preparing technical documents, facilitating site visits, and ensuring systems meet local permit, NEC, and safety standards
Plan and execute retrofit construction works within operating plants, coordinating with operations teams to minimize downtime, ensure safety compliance, and integrate upgraded chemical, power, and control systems seamlessly into existing infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic site conditions
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Solid understanding of construction processes, safety practices, and technical drawings
Familiar with NEC code
Preferred
2–5 years of experience in semiconductor facility operations, chemical utilities, or construction environments
