Senior FP&A Analyst

The Senior FP&A Analyst will assist with financial analysis, support Sales and Marketing functions, and participate in special projects within the Finance and Accounting area.

Responsibilities
Analyze financial results to gain an understanding into the performance of the business
Generate monthly variance analyses, reporting diagnostic measures for policy deployment
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. Provide insight and recommendations
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Continually seek new methods and procedures to streamline and simplify month-end reporting processes
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization
Assist with generation of the Financial Business Plan and revised forecasts for defined areas of the company. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives
Support Sales and Marketing initiatives to drive the business, track progress to plan, evaluate success, and flag risks to action. Push the Sales and organization to achieve sales targets
Provide ad hoc reports as required

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 6 years related accounting/finance or business analytics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in accounting/finance or business analytics
MBA, CPA or CMA designation a plus
Preferred
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with financial analysis tools (e.g. OneStream Reporting & Planning Suite)
Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Cognos)
Experience with ERP or Accounting software (e.g. JD Edwards)
Proficiency in Microsoft office products, with advanced skills in Excel
Experience working for a manufacturing company
