Field Service Representative
Suterra is a leader in pheromone-based pest control, seeking a Field Service Representative to support in-field operations across Central California. The role involves deploying products, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with the Technical Field Team to ensure service excellence.

Responsibilities
Deploy Suterra products accurately and efficiently—ranging from assisting with deployments to independently executing full territory schedules
Organize and support temporary labor crews; at higher competency levels, supervise and coordinate full field labor teams
Collect, record, and report reliable in-field data to support product performance, product development, and trial research
Partner with the Technical Field Team on trial setup, installation, sample collection, and data reporting
Use mapping tools and mobile applications to track deployments and maintain service accuracy
Participate in trade shows, grower meetings, and regional agricultural events as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and distributors
Respond to basic customer questions and escalate more complex inquiries to leadership or Customer Care
Provide feedback on product use, grower observations, and service opportunities
Professionally represent Suterra in the field and at customer-facing events
Complete assigned service routes on time and with high attention to detail
Record service notes, product counts, mapping data, and customer interactions in the CRM system
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to service processes
Support logistics planning for deployment activities and seasonal execution
Share market observations or emerging trends with the team
Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and skill development to advance field and technical capabilities
Share best practices and support onboarding of new or temporary staff
At higher levels, mentor FSR I team members and support coordination of field crews
Qualification
Required
2+ years of agricultural, field service, or similar outdoor work experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to maintain professional grower relationships
Reliable, detail-oriented work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and accountability
Ability to work independently and as part of a field team—sometimes supporting, sometimes leading
Comfortable working in agricultural environments with flexible hours during seasonal peaks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
Familiarity with agricultural equipment and field operations
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
