Mid LevelVSP Vision Care is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist at Bidwell Optometry in Folsom, California. The role involves providing comprehensive eye care, performing routine exams, and managing various ocular conditions while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages
Perform routine vision exams
Fit contact lenses
Manage ocular surface diseases and dry eye utilizing advanced in-office IPL therapy
Use state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging, topography, inflammatory testing, and automated pretesting equipment
Participate in myopia control services
Co-manage ocular disease and surgical cases as needed
Maintain accurate electronic health records via streamlined EHR and optical systems
Ensure efficient patient flow, consistent patient education, and uphold the highest standard of care
Qualification
Required
Current licensure in the State of California
Preferred
Experience in dry eye management, aesthetic services, or myopia control
Familiarity with IPL treatment, advanced contact lens fittings, or ocular surface disease management is a plus
