Responsibilities

Work on a complex product in a complex organization
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the real-time control aspects of MR hardware and of the network communication protocols
Translate ‘vague’ ideas in smart requirements
Build prototypes to validate requirements
Build a FPGA application on existing hardware with embedded processor and Python
Learn how to use new tools like Vivado, Matlab, Ruby, Python, Questasim
Project planning agreed with stakeholders
Implementation prototype solution on FPGA platform with Embedded software User Interface
Project Documentation

Qualification

Required

Master or Bachelor student in Computer sciences or Electrical Engineering
Eager to learn, good listening skills, self-motivated and open-minded
Experience with VHDL, FPGA programming and script programming (e.g. Python)
English language skills

Benefits

Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.
