The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Intern will gain exposure to 3D models, BIM software programs, and assist in various BIM coordination processes under the guidance of the BIM and VDC team.

Responsibilities

Help prepare 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit
Prepare 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordination
Help run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process
Help support with installation and prefabrication drawings
Help build Revit families, prefab assemblies, and contribute to BIM standards
Learn established standards for modeling and production of drawings
Strive to continuously develop your skills in our core applications

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
Thorough understanding of computer systems and applications
