Participants will receive 18 months of structured training and practical experience in the insurance industry, focusing on foundational knowledge and client advocacy skills.

Responsibilities
Receive intensive training and career development from a structured, 18-month curriculum
Gain practical experience helping local employers with their insurance needs
Receive mentorship support from regional and national industry experts
Learn foundational insurance coverages, program design, and risk management strategies in preparation for obtaining your brokers’ license
Understand the role of an insurance broker and current industry challenges
Develop effective negotiation and client-advocacy skills
Provide proactive, consultative service
Participate in the Commercial Insurance Career Track Program with over 1,300 hours of formalized training sessions and practical hands-on work experience
Engage in networking and relationship-building skills training
Complete training and fieldwork assignments as outlined in the program overview
Manage risk projects and participate in newsgroup discussions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree earned within the last two years
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
