Viaero Wireless is seeking Fiber Placement Technicians to join their team. The role involves installing Fiber Optic cables and new network facilities while traveling within the region.

Responsibilities

Install Fiber Optic cables using various techniques
Install new network facilities
Install new network facilities for Carrier network, Fiber to the Cell Tower Businesses, and Residential

Qualification

Required

At least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Able to travel throughout the region (NE/KS/CO)
Able to perform labor-intensive tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, lifting, digging, pushing, and pulling
Can lift 100 pounds
Can work outside in all elements
Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening
Have an eye for detail and a desire to excel

Preferred

Experience with fiber blowing optic equipment (GMP and CONDUX)
Experience with operation of hydraulic Fiber Optic Pulling Capstans
