NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The National Sales Manager will lead sales efforts to achieve revenue goals while ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Vice President of Catering and Conventions, the individual qualifies inquiries and develops new business from prospective corporations to create room, food & beverage and gaming revenue for the company and ensures top quality guest service
Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures
Focuses primarily on leading the sales efforts in achieving or exceeding personal and property wide annual revenue goals while maintaining the highest level of service and guest satisfaction
Answer inquires for business within established deadlines while maintaining a daily schedule of soliciting new business
Research and solicit new business over the telephone, in person or through exhibits at trade shows and maintain effective communication with established clientele
Develop, maintain and grow relationships with key purchasers and buyers
Conduct outside sales calls to new and existing clients
Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Develop overnight corporate business
Negotiate all sales contracts effectively
Prepare and maintain corporate business, corporate files, records, correspondence and reports to ensure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures
Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications
Communicate and coordinate with Convention Services, as well as other departmental personnel to ensure quality guest service
Conduct employee evaluations and assist in hiring of subordinate personnel
Attend sales training seminars and trade shows throughout the U.S. and Canada
Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Perform other duties as assigned

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
As part of Seminole Gaming's employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended
Background checks may include, but are not limited to: Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen
Preferred
Bachelors' degree preferred
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a sales manager in a high end hotel
Solid experience in group and banquet sales
