Responsibilities

Support research and development of novel pharmaceutical drug products and vaccines, including sterile liquids, lyophilized products, oral solids, suspensions, topicals, and various other dosage forms

Execute and assist in laboratory experiments and operate equipment under supervision of senior colleagues

Learn and execute drug product formulation techniques

Perform testing on pharmaceutical drug products and vaccines

Operate freeze-drying/lyophilization equipment

Qualification

Laboratory experienceFormulation techniquesScientific documentationFreeze-drying equipmentEffective communicationTeam collaboration

Required

Currently enrolled in or recently completed collegiate BS program in chemistry, pharmaceutics, chemical/biomedical engineering, or related field

Experience working in laboratory environment and operating common laboratory equipment

Experience authoring scientific technical documents

Effective communication skills

Experience working in matrix-like teams and collaborating with diverse scientists

Preferred

Experience or familiarity with pharmaceutical freeze-dryings / lyophilization
