They are seeking a licensed Architect with a strong background in architectural design and construction to become a forensic expert, investigating incidents and providing expert analysis and testimony.

Investigate architectural and premises safety incidents

Analyze documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand

Write clear, scientifically sound reports

Provide expert testimony

Required

Licensed Architect

15+ years of post-degree experience

B.S. or higher degree in Architecture

Active state licensure in good standing

NCARB membership with multi-state licensure eligibility

Designed or worked on buildings with a variety of Use Groups - Assembly, Business, Educational, Mercantile, Industrial, Institutional, Factory, and Residential, mixed-use

Experience with code evaluation, specification writing and/or diagnosing building defects and design analysis

Proven experience in construction, demonstrated through contract administration, construction management, design/build, and/or general contracting

In-depth knowledge of building safety and construction technology

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Excellent technical, analytical, writing and communication skills

Willing to travel about 20% on average

Valid driver's license and the ability to drive
