Conflicts Analyst II - Intake Compliance

Responsibilities

Work closely with attorneys and other members of the New Business & Conflicts team to identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest presented by new business
Perform comprehensive research, analysis, and documentation of potential conflicts of interest associated with new business intake
Prepare well-organized and detailed conflict of interest reports and present information directly to Firm partners in a clear, concise manner while highlighting critical issues
Review and evaluate new business intake forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws, firm policies, and business requirements
Review draft engagement letters and assist with maintaining engagement letter records
Ensure timely and efficient processing of new business requests
Work closely with the Firm’s Office of the General Counsel, department leadership, and other Intake Compliance team members regarding potential conflicts of interest and other risk and compliance matters
Employ and enforce risk management processes and procedures
Coordinate with department management, Office of the General Counsel, and Risk Management team regarding firm-wide training on new business intake and conflicts processes and procedures
Contribute to new business conflicts and intake process, procedure, and technology improvements to enhance efficiency and manage risk
Implement departmental projects and initiatives as assigned
Identify and support all customer service needs
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required
3-5 years of conflicts analyst experience, preferably at a large law firm
Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills
A problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and sound judgment
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of firm attorneys and staff
Ability to manage change within a dynamic and innovative organization while maintaining a commitment to the Firm's core values
Strong interest and ability to learn new technologies as necessary
