Postdoctoral Research Associate- Training Program in Pediatric Immuno-Oncology and Immunotherapy
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and creative candidate for a fully supported postdoctoral fellowship to develop immune-based therapies. The role focuses on developing cell-based immunotherapies for pediatric tumors using genetic engineering approaches.

Responsibilities
Develop immune-based therapies for pediatric tumors
Study genetically modified immune cells in preclinical models
Investigate interactions between adoptively transferred cells and tumor cells, the tumor microenvironment, and resident immune cells
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics, immunology, or a related area
Strong publication record
Excellent communication skills
Strong immunology and cell biology background, with an emphasis on cellular immunology
Experience in genetic manipulation of mammalian cells
Experience in generating and evaluating human or murine immune cells
Experience in gene editing
Experience in single cell transcriptomics
Experience in flow cytometry
Experience in murine solid tumor models
Applicants should be prospective postdocs or in the early stages of postdoctoral training (within 1–2 years of PhD conferral)
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Noncitizen Nationals, or Permanent Residents at the time of appointment
