Postdoctoral Research Associate - Epidemiology & Cancer Control
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Yadav Sapkota in the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control. The successful candidate will work on pharmacogenomics projects related to long-term toxicities of cancer therapy in childhood cancer survivors, utilizing large-scale genomic data and engaging in a multi-disciplinary research environment.

Responsibilities
Work on projects related to pharmacogenomics of long-term toxicities of cancer therapy in childhood cancer survivors
Conduct genetic association analyses for various long-term health outcomes among survivors of European and African ancestries
Analyze multi-omics data for elucidating molecular mechanisms for health outcomes
Evaluate health disparities through pharmacogenomics
Collaborate within a diverse, multi-disciplinary research environment
Gain training and experience in genetic epidemiology and pharmacogenomics
Access cutting-edge tools/technologies and shared core facilities and resources
Qualification
Required
PhD or equivalent degree in genetics, epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field
Strong publication record
Strong research interests in genetic epidemiology, pharmacogenomics, statistical genetics, or population genetics and experience in statistical and computational analyses of high-throughput omics data
Ability to code in one or more scientific programming languages (e.g., R, Python, C/C++)
Excellent communication and writing skills
