Responsibilities

Leading a team of A+ engineers who are passionate about building highly scalable distributed systems, and contributing to the open-source Apache Pinot software in addition to the following areas:
Building real-time database/data system internals
Query engine optimization, compilation, and execution
Data ingestion, storage, modeling, and indexing services
Building scalable, low latency, distributed systems
Creating automation and abstraction self-service tooling

Required

8+ years of experience in building / operating distributed systems engineering
5+ years as TLM
Strong expertise in distributed systems
Expertise in OLTP and/or OLAP Databases
Experience in real-time analytics or streaming systems
Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and execution management
