Responsibilities
Ensure proper assembly, installation, or repair of components according to established standards
Ensure all movement complies with safety regulations
Ensure team members maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas

Operate equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
Ensure daily work assignments are communicated to team members
Qualification
Required
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous (H) endorsement
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a forklift license
This position requires the incumbent to possess a valid state driver's license
This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete and pass the annual Medical Examination administered by the Anniston Army Depot
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a restricted area badge
This position requires the incumbent to successfully meet and maintain the requirements of the Physical Security of Arms, Ammunitions and Explosives IAW AR 190-11
This position requires the incumbent to comply with the Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP), governed by AR 600-85, subject to applicant testing and random drug testing
Applicants selected will be required to sign a DA 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical under the Department of the Army Drug -Free Federal Workforce Program)
This position requires the incumbent to travel up to 10% of off-depot travel and temporary duty travel (TDY)
This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations
This position is subject to the Lautenberg amendment to the gun control of 1968 which makes it a felony for anyone who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence to ship, transport, possess, or receive firearms or ammunition
Civilian personnel of the Department of Defense are not exempt from this provision. Therefore, as a condition of employment, selectee will be required to sign a form acknowledging understanding of this provision
Ability to do the work of an Motor Vehicle Operator (Materials Handler) Leader without more than normal supervision: receiving and relaying work instructions from a supervisor, ensuring availability of tools, blueprints, and materials; providing guidance on policies, procedures, and safety
