Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and prepare raw data into workable form for engineering/scientific project reports, plans, specifications, permits, cost estimates, and other project documents
Participate in field work as necessary/required in order to accomplish tasks assigned by project team leadership
Help to coordinate assigned tasks with other staff to successfully complete assignments. Report progress to team leadership
Maintain and utilize working knowledge of accepted engineering design, scientific principles, regulatory programs, and field standards and practices in the execution of design work as directed by supervisor and conform to industry standards
Provide input and assistance in investigating new techniques and methods that may increase the Company’s efficiency and incorporate cutting edge applications to arrive at the desired result on projects

Required

Approximately 1 - 4 years of professional environmental consulting experience
BS Degree in Environmental Science or Geology
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Basic technical competency, and demonstrated skills in engineering/scientific judgment, mathematical-applications, general chemistry, verbal/written communications
Ability to work effectively with team members as well as independently
Strong quantitative/math and analytical skills
The ability to participate in field work and basic competency with hand tools and power equipment such as generators, pumps, air compressors, and field chemistry meters
Core competency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Detailed oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
As required by discipline, take training courses/secure certifications in various specialized areas such as health and safety, hazardous materials inspection, sample collection techniques, environmental site assessments, etc

Preferred

MS not required, but preferred in Environmental Science or Geology
Current 40-hour Hazwoper training (not required, but preferred)
