Responsibilities

Pass T1 Training and BERTHA, and complete Behind the Wheel Training
Safely drive test vehicles in manual + actuation mode while following instructions from Developers, Engineers, and Lead during drives in public roads, closed course, and highways
Monitor systems in vehicles to identify problems and troubleshoot/calibrate as necessary
Prepare vehicles before and after drives, this includes plugging/unplugging vehicle from power and network cables and other tasks listed on pre- and post-trip checklist
Perform administrative duties such as vehicle tracking, checking in/out keys and fuel cards
Assist with vehicle transfer requests between our garages, testing courses, and vehicle maintenance facilities
Assist with Lead’s administrative tasks as necessary
Mentor and train new Junior Test Specialist
Assist with off-site tests that would require extended hours
Provide overnight test drive support
Be able to travel up to 40%
Perform vehicle inspection and provide a testing summary daily as necessary
Notice, track, and report ongoing issues
Maintain good punctuality and work ethics
Interact with the public and legal authorities as needed while on the road
Maintain confidentiality about the project

Qualification

Required

3+ years with valid US Driver's License and recent driving experience
NO prior DUI conviction or license suspension
NO at fault accident in past 3 years
NO more than 1 violation points on license
Clear background check for felony convictions
Pass drug test + Physical
Must be 21+
Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheets, file transfers, cable types)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must pass training steps (defensive driving, limits handling, system understanding)
Understand that their driving behavior (including interior facing cameras) will be constantly recorded
