Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions, while building relationships with partners across YouTube
Communicate the user experience throughout the design process using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into product updates, and advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes and improvements
Develop the team's competency in aesthetics and composition by building a community of practice focused on visual design principles, and help align the team's visual direction and standards
Lead the development and production of motion, illustration, and design systems for asset-based creatives on YouTube, including the creation of documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in Visual Design, Motion Design, and UX Design
Experience with branding graphic design
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)
Preferred
1 year of experience leading design projects
Experience with display advertising
Knowledge of design patterns and brand identity systems
Knowledge of design thinking methodologies
Ability to lead and ideate products and improve features, all with a user-centered design process
Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to responsive design for platforms such as desktop and mobile
