Security Installation Manager

Cobalt Service Partners is a respected provider in the CCTV and security systems industry. The Security Installation Manager will lead the Security Installation Department, develop processes for improving construction operations, and manage project managers and installation teams.

Responsibilities

Manage all personnel within the sector
Receive project opportunities from the sales team, then triage and evaluate those opportunities and assign them to the appropriate installation teams
Manage the resources needed by installation teams, including inventory, tools, and vehicles
Ensure the fiscal efficacy of projects by holding regular billing meetings with the project managers
Participate in the review of project proposals to ensure labor and material accuracy
Govern and enforce the logging of hours daily so that billable hours are properly captured and processed
Maintain working knowledge of equipment the company is deploying

Required

2+ years' experience leading installation and service teams within the electronic security industry
Proficient computer skills in the areas of calendaring and correspondence
Tech savvy and working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Office, D-Tools, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects and/or HP PPM
Broad understanding of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), CCTV and Intrusion systems
Basic knowledge of networks, IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, and hardware) and software components (applications and databases)
Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and balancing workloads to meet project deadlines
Strong problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
Excellent written, verbal, listening abilities and interpersonal communication skills
Superior attention to detail and focus on accuracy
Electronic security equipment and installation best practices
Physical security terminology and operations
Familiarity with and interest in the security industry's evolving trends
Basic financial understanding, with experience in meeting budgetary commitments
General understanding of technology industry operations and corporate business functions
Basic project management principles
Architectural and construction industry methods and practices
