Mid LevelATI is hiring a Journeyman Machinist for our Albany Operations -34th Ave facility. The primary functions of this role include setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes, mills, and other machine tools to ensure precision machining and adherence to quality specifications.

Responsibilities
Ability to read and interpret prints, sketches, and follow work instructions
Programming using Mastercam, Conversation Programming, and G & M Codes
Setup and Operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual Mills, and Lathes
Perform in process inspections using multiple inspection equipment, to include the ability to hold tight tolerances and surface finishes as stated on drawings
Occasional hand grinding, as needed
Good Math skills and ability to calculate proper feeds and speeds
Perform duties in a safe and timely manner
Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping
Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects
Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
