Director, Global Payments Platform Sales - Account Executive

They are seeking a Director of Global Payments Platform Sales who will be responsible for marketing and selling the FX payments platform to financial institutions, with a focus on expanding the customer base among regional and community banks.

Responsibilities

Market and sell the company’s FX payments platform to financial institutions
Expand the current customer base and become the premier payments technology provider to leading regional and community banks in the United States
Create a pipeline and move deals through the pipeline while forecasting accurately
Provide feedback to the product organization based on client/prospect meetings
Build a business case for feedback if needed and provide subject matter expertise for the ongoing product roadmap of the FX payments offering
Conduct research through various methods, including client meetings, surveys, and market analysis

Required

At least 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling FX or global payments technology platforms and quota achievement selling into community and regional banks
Strong rolodex in regional and community bank industry calling on decision makers for FX or global payments at such banks
Detailed understanding of the complete FX lifecycle, including electronic trading, liquidity platforms, execution, confirmation/matching, settlements, accounting, and reconciliations
Understanding of the challenges of payment processing, including correspondent banks, Nostro management, and payment mechanisms such as SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH. OFAC/BSA/AML regulations
Strong communication and writing skills
Understands sales qualification (Meddicc) and uses a consultative/value selling approach
Bachelor's degree related to finance/economics/computer science

Preferred

Experience with Dodd-Frank regulations related to FX Derivatives is a plus but not required
