Internal Design Coordinator
KRM Development, LLC is a fast-paced company based in the Des Moines metro that specializes in creating a unique home-building experience. The Internal Design Coordinator will serve as a central coordinator between clients, internal teams, and key vendors to ensure accurate documentation and communication throughout the home-building process.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the build process, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
Lead client meetings and walkthroughs at key construction milestones
Act as liaison between clients, internal teams (sales, estimating, field operations), and vendors to maintain alignment and transparency
Proactively address client questions and resolve issues to deliver an exceptional experience
Maintain accurate plans, specifications, and selections throughout the build
Manage all project documentation and ensure timely updates for internal teams and vendors
Prepare and submit permit applications and related documents to municipalities
Track project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets
Support closing activities by preparing required documents and coordinating with relevant parties
Oversee ordering and tracking of non-inventory items, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
Coordinate with warehouse and vendors to ensure materials are available when needed
Partner with sales, estimating, and field teams to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate project details
Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
Champion the use of technology tools to improve scheduling, communication, and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, project management, design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
Availability to work flexible hours, outside of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, as needed to meet project timelines
Preferred
Previous experience in project management or home-building operations is a plus
