Senior Data Product Manager

Responsibilities

Define with stakeholders problem statements and creating strategies to be able solve those challenges
Define products scope and thereby create a high level requirements and roadmap for the product
Accoutable for the end-to-end product lifecycle, by using industry wide frameworks such as a PLM for data products, from ideation to launch, enhancements, stabilisation and creation of real business adoption. In addition the development of the support model and transition into BAU
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and data insights to identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data infrastructure and capabilities
Create business cases and manage budgets associated with delivery of the data products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business e.g. digital teams as well as commercial and customer teams including data modellers, engineers, business analysts and data governance
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data product management
Build and Lead a high-performing team, ensuring a strong pipeline of Technology Talent through robust Talent and Succession Planning
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities, to ensure constant skill development
Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment in line with our company values

Required

Experience in product management, particularly in data products
Strong understanding of data infrastructure and capabilities
Ability to define product vision and strategy
Experience in managing product lifecycles from ideation to launch
Proven ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback
Experience in creating business cases and managing budgets
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
Leadership experience in managing teams of Business Analysts and Data Modellers
Ability to build and lead high-performing teams
Experience in providing mentorship and professional development opportunities
Commitment to promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment
