Commercial Account Manager, Central U.S.

They are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to engage with small and medium-sized companies across various markets in the Central US territory, focusing on driving net-new business and expanding existing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with senior-level stakeholders (Heads of R&D, Engineering Managers, Engineering Directors, Product Managers, Project Managers)
Drive outbound prospecting to build pipeline and uncover new opportunities across the Central US territory
Follow up on inbound leads generated by Marketing
Develop and deliver tailored sales proposals that address customer needs
Collaborate with sales leadership to refine territory strategy and expand engagement within target accounts
Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to drive retention and growth
Maintain a structured weekly plan aligned with activity and pipeline targets
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to Qt
Provide accurate weekly reporting, forecasts, and account plans

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience selling software into the consumer, medical, industrial, aerospace & defense, or automotive sectors
Proven success managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Ability to serve as a consultative technical advisor to customers
Strong relationship-building and rapport-building skills
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills
Knowledge of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC)

Preferred

Experience selling software development or QA tools, or familiarity with the software development lifecycle
Salesforce proficiency
Existing network within Central US industry segments
