Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and implementing instructional materials and training programs focused on electronic medical record systems
Collaborating with subject matter experts while understanding user needs and creating engaging and effective training solutions
Developing and leading the creation of course content for all application(s) at the direction of Principal Trainers for applications that share a portion of the end user’s workflow
Ensuring that healthcare professionals can efficiently use application systems
Matching the digital training modality content to the production environment of the Piedmont end-users
Establishing and maintaining critical business relationships with fellow Piedmont co-workers, physicians, and all others who use or interact with the Information Services department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Five (5) years of experience in instructional design or training development, preferably within a healthcare or EHR context

Preferred
Familiarity with major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) is highly desirable
Expertise in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and AI solutions for voice-over recording
Proficiency in scenario-based script writing and end-user knowledge assessment
Desire to improve customer value and build collegial relationships to achieve outcomes
