Moffitt Cancer Center is an NCI-designated comprehensive Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, seeking a Research Data Analyst I - Biostatistics to support innovative research efforts. This role involves providing statistical programming and data analysis for ongoing and planned GI clinical and translational research studies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain datasets, perform quality checks, and assist with data integration
Prepare statistical results, tables, and figures for abstracts, manuscripts, and grant submissions
Work under the supervision of a faculty biostatistician (Dr. Vivien Yin) to ensure adherence to best practices in statistical design, analysis, and reproducibility
Participate in team meetings and contribute to study design discussions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, data science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience required
Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, data science or related field with no relevant experience will be considered
Experience with statistical software (SAS and R) is required
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage, clean, and harmonize clinical and real-world datasets
Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, data managers, and biostatisticians
Demonstrated interest in cancer research and commitment to methodological rigor and reproducible science
