They are seeking a Lighting Design Intern to join their Detroit office, where the intern will work on integrated architecture and engineering project design teams, produce electrical design drawings, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Work on integrated architecture and engineering project design teams
Produce electrical design drawings using the latest design software
Compile data and prepare design solutions
Prepare calculations utilizing AG132 software
Participate in design meetings
Receive mentorship from experienced lighting design professionals
Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites

Qualification

Required

Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited electrical engineering, architectural engineering or lighting design program by the time of the internship
Relevant course work in lighting design along with an interest in lighting within the building industry
Some experience with current design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, AGI32 and the Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

Eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week.
