Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Planning: Create product plans focused on driving exponential top-of-funnel user growth, retention, and conversion. Prioritization for Growth: Guide the prioritization of work by building business cases that consider the bottom line and impact on key growth metrics. Knowing when to go deep on a few things versus incremental progress on numerous things will be key
Technical SEO & AI-Driven Growth: Partner closely with technical SEO experts, frontend engineers, and Engineering partners to define and execute a roadmap that optimizes for Core Web Vitals, robots.txt management, domain handling (e.g. 301 redirects), and platform scalability
AI Strategy & Experimentation: Incorporate AI tooling to amplify your own planning, efficiency, and execution in product management, SEO, and growth. Work with Engineering and Design to make build vs. buy vs. hybrid decisions looking for opportunities to implement A/B testing and growth loop optimization
Scope Management: Break large projects down into smaller, actionable scopes to mitigate delivery risk and provide near-term and long-term value
Communication & Alignment: Manage up, down, and all around with teams and stakeholders to uphold understanding
Design & User Experience: Partner with Design to deliver intuitive and usable reader experiences prioritizing features that allow users to discover Wirecutter's value quickly, minimizing friction and maximizing top-of-funnel engagement and satisfaction
