Planning and Insights Intern
7-Eleven is the world’s largest operator, franchiser and licensor of convenience stores, known for its innovation in the retail industry. The Planning and Insights Intern will assist merch planners in supporting the financial performance of merchandise categories and will engage in various analytical projects to drive data-backed decisions.

Responsibilities
The Intern will work on projects to assist merch planners who support strategic and financial performance of assigned merchandise categories
The Intern will learn from and support merch planners who act as the Business Partner for the Category Managers and lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, using advanced analytics to drive data-backed decisions
Together with Category Planners, Intern will partner cross-functionally to support assortment, pricing, and promotional planning—ensuring alignment with 7-Eleven’s business objectives and financial targets
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a four year degree
Strong financial acumen and forecasting skills
Able to critically think and make analytical reasoning
Be a strategic business partner
Be able to tell a story with data, data visualization skills
