They are seeking a Founding Staff Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of a high-performance full-stack application, with a focus on backend development and AI model integration.

Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and development of a high-performance full-stack application using TypeScript/React on the frontend and Python/Django on the backend
Architect and maintain scalable, type-safe REST and GraphQL APIs (Django REST Framework + Django Ninja or FastAPI-style patterns) that seamlessly integrate with modern React frontends and AI inference services
Build, deploy, and manage production-grade AI inference endpoints (using Django views or async workers) capable of serving large language models or custom ML models at scale with low latency
Drive continuous improvement of internal Evals frameworks, including test harnesses, metrics dashboards (React-based), and automated evaluation pipelines
Make key system design and architecture decisions for a high-traffic, mission-critical production environment handling thousands of concurrent users
Act as a true full-stack owner: regularly contribute production-grade code in TypeScript, React (Next.js), Tailwind/UI libraries while maintaining deep expertise in the Django/Python stack
Qualification
Required
Expert-level proficiency in Python and Django (including Django REST Framework, async views, channels, Celery/RQ, custom middlewares, and advanced ORM usage)
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern React ecosystems (Next.js 14+, App Router, Server Components, React Query, Zod, TailwindCSS)
Proven experience building and serving AI/ML models in production (TorchServe, ONNX Runtime, vLLM, or custom inference servers integrated into Django)
Deep knowledge of AI agent architectures, RAG retrieval strategies, prompt engineering, and evaluation datasets/metrics
Full-stack fluency: comfortable owning features from database schema → Django models → API contracts → TypeScript types → React components and end-to-end testing
