Responsibilities

Design, deployment and maintenance of networks
Interface with other groups to gain a heightened understanding of customer network requirements to include implementation of DISA STIGs
Ancillary duties will include, but are not limited to: evaluation of vendor products, providing recommendations to purchase hardware and software, providing backup recovery, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, building of systems and computing asset management
Architect and assist in the successful deployment of international networks
Implement Cyber requirements via STIG automation
Integration of networks / time servers and other network devices
Assist with integrating products within labs and development environments
Help to maintain the information assurance posture of the system
Formulate innovative solutions to problems as they arise

Required

Principal Network Engineer: 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Senior Principal Network Engineer: 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 6 years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application
Experience with IP subnetting
Experience with L1 thru L3 networking
Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols
Knowledge of Cisco Systems networking, to include the deployment of complex WAN configurations across several sites (including international)
DISA STIG as they apply to network devices
Security+ Certification

Preferred

Experience with Solarwinds network monitoring
Experience with Cisco ISE applications
Experience with Crypto units
Microsoft Visio Diagram creation
CISSP or Microsoft OS Certification
