CORE Rotational Development Program - Logistics

They are seeking recent graduates for the CORE Rotational Development Program, which offers hands-on exposure to various aspects of logistics management and prepares participants for future leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

Rotate through the logistics functional area within our lines of business (Mills, Fabrication, Recycling, Emerging Business Group)
Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
Participate in various developmental trainings and business projects
Complete and present a capstone project at the conclusion of program
Work in multiple roles at the plant level to learn processes and procedures (e.g. dispatching, terminal supervisor)
Be exposed to many aspects of logistics management (rail/truck, carrier selection, negotiation) at multiple levels of the organization (from manager to driver)
May work in short-term assignment roles as needed

Required

To be considered eligible to participate in CMC's Core Career Path Program, candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited school
Ability to work under the guidelines of CMC's core values and safety standards
Ability to work in the elements (hot, cold, wet, etc) as needed
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Ability to work within all levels of the organization (shop floor to upper management)
Strong customer service skills
Willingness to relocate at the end of the program if the next opportunity is at a different location
Candidates must be willing to relocate and travel
Future relocation is highly likely, subject to business needs
Completion of the entire course will be necessary before any future placement opportunities are made available
Bachelor's degree required
