Responsibilities

Dive into the operational procedures, production/maintenance activities, and product knowledge at our sites
Learn about and assist in the optimization of concrete mix designs to meet project specifications for strength, durability, and workability
Assist in the testing and inspection of concrete samples, such as slump tests, compression tests, and air content measurements, to ensure quality and adherence to standards
Work alongside site supervisors to monitor concrete pouring operations, ensuring adherence to mix specifications, placement techniques, and curing practices
Assist in the development of strategies to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency in the production process
Collect and analyze data, identify process correlations, and contribute to the development of strategies for ongoing projects
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
Utilize a range of skills and knowledge in day-to-day operations, working collaboratively to achieve team and company goals
At the end of your internship, you'll present your learnings and contributions to our executive leadership team

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges
A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization
Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience and firsthand knowledge of our business operations
