Responsibilities
Part of the NSX In-Bound Product management team to define next generation product lines and drive a competitive product roadmap addressing NSX business requirements and enabling next generation cloud/AI switch requirements
Scope of responsibility includes defining all aspects of NSX Cloud & AI switching product lines, from features, connectivity to system implementation requirements
You will be part of the team working closely with CTO office, hardware & software engineering, systems & platform, and sales teams
Partner with silicon architecture and execution teams, platform architects and system engineering teams, SI/PI engineering teams, and external ODM/OEM partners
Building market & cost structure analysis and a current and accurate view of the competitive landscape that provides the data to enter or change new markets through a clear value proposition
Define positioning that enables the communication of the product value proposition for different markets and use cases
Bullet proofing the product concept by creating customer facing presentation that captures customer application requirements and endorsement
Deep understanding of technology partners for best fit selection and execution of the product
Deep understanding of Cloud/AI switching architectures and high-speed protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, UEC and UALink) used in hyperscale infrastructure
Solid understanding of silicon & software engineering along with overall dependency on product execution and management
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate newly introduced technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related) required
10 years of relevant semiconductor experience with solid understanding of Ethernet switching technologies and dynamics
Experience in silicon engineering and defining complex silicon SoC
Proven ability to work in a team and cross organization
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to all levels of the corporation, internal, partner and customer
Can-do self-starter with strong cross-functional leadership skills
Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies
Strategic analytic mind who has had success in the conception and launch of new products with a good market/technology understanding & trends
Demonstrated product life-cycle management across whole semiconductor product NPI process
Knowledge and networking (Ethernet) components and overall eco-system
Proven ability to create and drive a funnel with sales
Proven ability to gain respect and work effectively with Engineering organizations
Deep understanding of Cloud/AI switching architectures and high-speed protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, UEC and UALink) used in hyperscale infrastructure
Solid understanding of silicon & software engineering along with overall dependency on product execution and management
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate newly introduced technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
