Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end capital expenditure planning for data center equipments, developing strategic financial roadmaps that balance supply chain security with capital efficiency and unit cost reduction
Build and manage a high-performing team that drives financial excellence in inventory management, creating mechanisms to identify barriers and developing scalable solutions for process improvement
Partner with procurement team to negotiate long term contracts, leveraging financial analysis to secure advantageous terms while maintaining quality standards
Establish and monitor key performance indicators for LLE costs, implementing data-driven mechanisms to continuously improve financial outcomes and reduce the cost to construct
Drive strategic financial initiatives that support AWS's data center expansion, balancing immediate operational needs against long-term business objectives while maintaining rigorous financial controls

Required

12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)

Preferred

5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
MBA, or CPA
3+ years of performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools experience
10+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience
8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
7+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 10+ members experience
