Responsibilities

Perform technical reviews of RFQs and/or CO’s
Initiate and participate in drawing change process (ECR, ECN), as required
Support engineers by providing technical support and knowledge of products from RFQ’s and/or CO’s analysis
Create Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM), and Material Data List (MDL)
Works under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude, as required
Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities
Evaluate incoming technical data (documentation, and test reports), verify accuracy, and sort codes according to file system
Understanding technical data baselines to determine effects in configuration management
Dispose of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements
Store technical data in paper form (where applicable) or enter information into computerized storage system(s). Scanning and importing into electronic vault
Identify drawings, license code, original manufacturer code, top assembly
Retrieve drawings and/or materials for qualified personnel upon request
Locate missing documents as requested
Maintain drawings and associated documents/files. Maintain Technical baseline in our PLM database (Windchill). Data entry into ERP system
Review and coordinate preparation of project documentation with Engineering personnel, such as Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
Review and analyze released engineering change data
Support Conflict Minerals Compliance processes for reporting

Required

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field
A minimum of 5 - 9 years equivalent combination of technical education and experience in a manufacturing environment with engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, bills of material and configuration management
Working knowledge of relevant engineering applications
