Responsibilities
Help on leading the migration of our Alpha application from native to React Native, ensuring a seamless transition
Work closely with product and design teams to continuously enhance our Alpha product offering
Continuously identify and integrate the latest trends and technologies in React Native and mobile development
Implement features, ensure high performance, and address performance bottlenecks in React Native applications
Guide and mentor a team of engineers, sharing best practices and driving technical excellence
Help design a scalable architecture tailored to our business needs
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of proven expertise in React Native development
Background in Android development (Kotlin/Java) to support our mobile transition
Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native's component-based architecture
Skilled at architecting and delivering robust, scalable mobile solutions
Demonstrated success leading technical initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration
Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges
Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Ability to champion best practices and guide teams through architecture and implementation
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skilled at driving team alignment to bring ambitious projects to life
Preferred
Familiarity with React-Native-Web to extend solutions across platforms
Experience with Expo to streamline development workflows
Experience with native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C)
