SAIC is seeking Systems Engineers with Acquisition practice to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to the Government Intelligence Community. The Acquisition Systems Engineer will support the Systems Program Office in the acquisition and execution of mission-critical systems, guiding programs through various acquisition processes and providing technical analysis.

Responsibilities

Reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for compliance, execution, and program status

Pre-Acquisition, Acquisition and governance artifact generation

Guiding program acquisitions through agency governance process

Maintaining awareness of Systems Engineering Processes and Artifacts

Assisting leadership in coordination and collaboration activities across multiple agencies and with oversight

Coordinating acquisitions and acquisition documents across the Program Office

Representing the Program Office in customer acquisition discussions related to current and future contracts

Required

Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelors and 14 years or more experience; Masters and 12 years or more experience; PhD and 9 years or more experience (will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree)

3+ years of experience integrating DoD/IC and other govt agencies

5+ years of experience with DoD/IC technical acquisition processes

10+ years of experience in project/program management

3+ years of experience as a MSA PM, DPM or Material Leader

Understanding of NRO Acquisition process as DAWIA PM or IC COTR Level 2

Experience in research and development acquisitions to include technology development planning

Experience in acquisition planning and execution

Exceptional communication and coordination skills

Ability to quickly understand and respond to Government queries

Experience in formulating budget plans and Earned Value Management
