Software Engineer I, Cybersecurity (Hybrid-Puerto Rico)
Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is looking to hire an entry level Software Engineer to support their Power and Controls organization. This role focuses on secure software development, automation, and continuous improvement in support of critical communication and cyber intelligence programs.

Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing system data flows to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
Support the development of secure product designs
Develop, deploy and automate security tools for identifying product security flaws
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements during product development stages
Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and other security evaluations under supervision
Support organizational adoption of the Avionics Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Coursework with a focus in Cybersecurity
Experience with tailoring and hardening of operating systems
Experience with system and application penetration testing
Experience with SAST and analyzing security impact of code defects
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
