The role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining technical printing and binding equipment to prevent unexpected downtime.

Responsibilities

Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times

Repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, and test highly technical printing and binding equipment

Gather information and feedback from other departments around repairs and efficiency of our machines

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair motors

Work with high and variable voltage, DC power and circuit controls, and 480 VAC phase 3 power wiring

Understand, repair, and program PLC, CNC, and robotic equipment and controls

Bring ideas to the table on how we can improve our processes and equipment

Qualification

Required

Proficient with troubleshooting /diagnostics and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Experience and understanding of relay logic circuits

Experience and understanding of AC and DC motors and power systems

Familiar with VAC 480 3 phase power wiring systems

Ability to read and understand various prints and schematics required

Preferred

Basic knowledge of machine and process control, including experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Lenze) and frequency drives are highly beneficial
